In 2021, Texas passed House Bill (HB4545) to support students who may have experienced significant learning loss due to COVID 19-related instruction interruption. This bill came with a new list of requirements that districts must meet each year, including the creation of Accelerated Instruction Plans with documented hours and progress monitoring for students that fail to pass the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) .

In this one-hour webinar, Branching Minds discuss the requirements of HB4545 and how new product updates to the platform can help districts meet these new requirements. This webinar will discuss the following topics:

    • What requirements does HB4545 establish?

    • How can MTSS implementation and HB4545 compliance co-exist successfully?

    • How does the Branching Minds platform assist districts with meeting these requirements?

This webinar will target Texas-based district leaders, but it is open to anyone who would like to join to learn more about HB4545, MTSS, and Branching Minds.

After serving as a Special Education Teacher, Kristal’s passion is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to receive interventions, and that teachers use data to help drive their academic needs. Until Branching Minds, Kristal’s team did not have a clear system to support their students and teachers through the MTSS process. Branching Minds has effectively and efficiently helped them provide the system to support their student needs in building a path for academic success for all.
