Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Branching Minds is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Additional Accessibility Considerations
Branching Minds has undergone rigorous third party testing for Web Accessibility, and our application was tested against all of the applicable 50 success criteria within the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Conformance Level A and AA. The VPAT form was created by the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). We use this form to measure our steps towards conformance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Branching Minds uses VPAT to report on our status with regard to meeting WCAG 2.1 A and AA standards.
